Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

Northstar Downhole Specialists (NorthstarDST.com) is a lean and dynamic team; laser focused on delivering value to customers from Taiwan to Tulsa.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded leader who is adaptable to handle quickly evolving situations and is uncompromising on quality and process.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all assets, inventory and outstanding orders and works with engineering, sales, and operations to ensure equipment and capital is properly allocated and managed in order to ensure customer satisfaction.  This includes in transit inventory and assets no longer within a region market.  It is key that this role manage logistics where time and budget are of the essence. Complete visibility to WIP, In-Transit, and non-regional assets critical.

The Supply Chain Manager is expected to develop vendor relationships and ensure quality standards are met within the budget of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Workflow
  • Purchasing, managing vendor relationship, capabilities, standards and quality
  • Visibility of all POs outstanding and timing
  • Assembly & Inventory control / visibility
  • Logistics
  • Corporate communications and supply chain visibility
  • Rules and regulations for transport
  • Research and knowledge of import/export rules for global markets
  • Manage all logistics activities for Northstar
  • Visibility of all inventory (WIP, In Transit, Engineering)

Key Deliverables:

  • KPIs Report
  • NCR & CSR Stats
  • Estimates
  • Delivery Updates
  • Conforming Product
  • Quality Book
  • RFQ Package
  • PO Package

Key Metrics:

  • Product Revenue
  • Pricebook Value creation
  • Delivery on time = days late/quoted delivery time
  • On cost = delta/quoted cost
  • Quality = (Discount + Recalls Cost)/Product Value Sold

Job Requirements:

  • Preference will be given to those with a degree or diploma in supply chain management
  • 5+ Years' Experience
  • Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel as required
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Position based out of Calgary

Region Manager - North America

Job Description

The Region Manager for North America is responsible for all service operations and customer support within Canada and the US. The Region Manager will manage all aspects of the operations workflow and will be focused on continuous improvement of service quality and growth of the market.
